Relish School Meals

Our school meals are provided by Relish School Food.  Relish understand the importance of providing nutritious and delicious school meals that support your child’s growth and learning. Relish have carefully crafted menus that are designed to offer a balanced diet, packed with essential nutrients and bursting with flavor.

Although we encourage children to have a cooked meal, they can bring a healthy packed lunch if they wish. We do not encourage sweets, fizzy drinks or excessive sugary foods and we value parents support with this.

If you would like a paper copy of the menu, please pop into the school office where we have spare copies available.  Alternatively, the menus can be viewed via the Relish Parent Portal.

Allergies/Intolerances

We are a nut free school as we have children with severe nut allergies. 

If your child has an allergy or intolerance we ask that you notify the school office as soon as you can so that we can update our records. 

Universal Free School Meals (UIFSM) and Free School Meals (FSM)

Children in EYFS, Years 1 and 2 receive a free school meal under the Universal Free School Meal programme(UIFSM), the cost of a meal to everyone else is £2.55 a day.

Your child may be eligible to have Free School Meals (FSM) if you receive any of the following benefits:

• Income Support
• Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• The guaranteed element of Pension Credit
• Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit)
• Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
• Universal Credit
