St Mary’s Primary School Receives £500 from Ragdale Hall Community Chest to Support Outdoor Classroom Project
St Mary’s Primary School in Melton Mowbray is thrilled to announce that it has received a generous £500 donation from the Ragdale Hall Community Chest. The funding will contribute to the construction of a brand-new outdoor classroom, featuring a gazebo and a decked base, creating an inspiring and versatile learning space for both staff and students.
Members of the Friends of St Mary’s Primary School — Eleanor Satchwell, Louisa Jones, and Vicky Groom — attended Ragdale Hall to collect the cheque on behalf of the school community.
Laura Oakes, Headteacher at St Mary’s Primary School, expressed her gratitude:
“We are incredibly grateful to Ragdale Hall Community Chest for their generous support. This donation will help us create a wonderful outdoor learning environment that will benefit our pupils for years to come.”
The school is excited to begin work on this project, which aims to enrich the learning experience and encourage a love of the outdoors among its pupils.
